fe3h_prompt_banner

Happy New Year, everyone! As you are probably aware, both Shri (@ Sun and Chai) and I love video games ; she writes reviews of games on her blog, and it’s not a secret that I mention video games whenever I can on my blog. This year, we both absolutely fell in love with Fire Emblem: Three Houses; for a while now, I’ve been thinking of a way to intertwine this game with my love for books. And when I mentioned this to Shri, we started talking about it and ultimately decided to create an End of the Year tag, Fire Emblem: Three Houses edition together. Shri posted the announcement on her blog recently and you can check it right here, with all the prompts and graphics! This tag is a fun way to look back at our year in reading through a game that was a big part of 2019 for us. And so today I wanted to share with you my answers for this tag. ✨Read More »

The Fall Bucket List Book Tag: hello colder weather! 🍂☁️

2020-debuts2.pngHello everyone!

I was planning blog posts, thinking about what I wanted to write about and then I saw that Tiffany @ Read By Tiffany created the Fall Bucket List Book Tag, and I simply knew. Autumn is genuinely one of my favourite seasons, very close with winter; when the weather finally started getting colder, I was happy. And when it rained so much in the span of two weeks right after I moved? I thought it was the perfect atmosphere. Sure, the humidity was high but I find cloudy and rainy weather to be so relaxing. I can now wear my jumpers and scarfs and it’s great.Read More »

The Taylor Swift Lover Book Tag: talking about books and characters while listening to an album I love 🌸

august-wrap-up1.png

Hello everyone!

As you may or may not know, I love Taylor Swift. I’ve loved her music for years, and I have always been excited everytime she releases new music. So obviously, when Lover came out on the 23rd of August, I listened to it once. Then twice. Then three times… Okay, alright, I’m going to be honest here, and admit I’ve listened to it every day since it came out, even several times a day. When I listen to music lately, chances are, it’s going to be Lover.Read More »

So thank you so much Caro for tagging me, and please check out her blog, I love her posts! This tag was created by Kourtni Reads and I had a lot of fun answering the questions!Read More »

Down the TBR Hole, 1: it’s finally time for me to go through my TBR shelf 📚

june wrap up(3)Hi everyone!

Everytime I look at my TBR on Goodreads, I tell myself I will never read all of these novels. Once in a while, I try to clear out some of the titles, but I am still at 150 books on my TBR shelf. That’s way too many, I think, and absolutely not realistic. I’ve been adding books since I joined Goodreads in 2013, and I haven’t organized any of it. Sometimes, I add so many books at once when watching Booktube videos or reading blog posts with recommendations, but then promptly forget about them. Read More »

Mid Year Freakout Book Tag, all about the books I’ve read so far in 2019 📚

Review eclipse the skiesHi everyone!

June is already here, meaning the middle of the year also is. So much has happened in the span of those six months in my life but with reading as well: I started my blog and the number of books I’ve read so far has been much higher than what I was expecting 🎉 I’ve already read more books than I did in 2018 which was such a surprise, in the best way possible. So when the lovely Caro at Bookcheshirecat tagged me in the Mid Year Book Freakout Tag, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to reflect on my reading in the first half of the year. This tag was created by ReadLikeWildfire & Earl Grey Books 📚 I’ve decided to choose only one book for each prompt and never the same book twice (even though I really wanted to sometimes). I hope you enjoy reading my answers!Read More »

The Book Addiction tag 📚

book addiction tag(1)Hi everyone!

Books. I love reading them, I love talking about them and even when they make me cry sometimes from so many emotions, I don’t mind for one second. Well, okay, maybe a few seconds when my tears get my glasses all dirty and I have to stop reading to clean them. Books are great, whole universes I can get lost into, fall in love with characters and follow them on their journeys. I always loved reading books, from the moment I actually knew how to read (five year-old me was SO PROUD when she read a whole book out loud to her kindergarden class).

But am I addicted to books? The lovely Marie at Drizzle & Hurricane Books tagged me in the Book Addiction Tag, so I guess that’s our chance to find out!

The Perfect Book Tag

JONES FAMILY REUNION

Hi everyone!

Today, after reading Sofii’s amazing new book tag on her blog A Book A Thought, I really wanted to do it myself and so here we are! I absolutely loved the concept of it; Sofii described it perfectly: “it’s all about creating our perfect story or perfect book based on our past readings. The idea is to create your own perfect book, choosing only the best of the best from other books you’ve already read. Choosing from our Perfect MC to our Perfect Ending” and I thought it would be really interesting (and challenging) to answer all the prompts. You can find and read all of Sofii’s answers here. The rules are simple:

  • Answer honestly, there are no wrong answers
  • To make it just a little harder, you can’t mention the same book twice
  • Have FUN!
  • Tag me if you decide to do it, I would love to see your answers
  • Tag at least 5 people

So let’s do this, shall we?Read More »

The Unapologetically Book Tag

The Unapologetically Book Tag

Happy Thursday!

For the past couple weeks since I listened to it for the first time, I have been so in love with Kelsea Ballerini’s Unapologetically album. I’ve listened to it on repeat for a whole week and even now I still listen to it at least once a day, so that goes to show how much I love it. While focusing on the lyrics, I realized that some of the songs reminded me very strongly of some characters and OTPs from books, so I began to think how I could link this album to books. And last night, this original book tag was born! I’m gonna answer it today, right here, and if you’re interested you definitely should do it too and answer as many questions as you want (whether you’ve listened to the album or not)!Read More »
